10/12/2004 - Turn Over is Here!
About two weeks later than normal, turn-over is in progress on the Flambeau Chain. Fence & Big Crawlingstone temps are in the 52-55 degree range. Most other lakes on the chain range from 48 - 51 degrees and have stabilized. I would fish Flambeau or Pokegama for more action. The big lakes may not turn on until the end of the month. Look for Walleye on deep rocks 35 - 50 feet of water with Redtail Chubs. Muskie can be found on deep breaking rocky shore lines and points.
