Water temps had plumeted by more then ten degrees in less than 10 days. I was reading 47.5 degrees as we headed away from the dock and was concerned. Was this to much to fast? It had stayed warm so late this year but finaly turnover was complete! We didn't have to wait long for an answer.
The first spot we hit it only took a couple casts and BANG, we had our first fish. By our second drift we had a "triple" meaning all three of us had a Bass on at the same time.
Fishing for me was terrible most of the fall due to above average temps and unstable water conditions. However once we finally got sustained cool weather and turnover the fish were on!!
